We are committed to meeting the needs of our community and provide compassionate care with the finest technology and services available today.
At Community Hospital, we have made investments in new technologies used for the detection and treatment of heart disease, cancer and other conditions. These include, The da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System used by physicians to perform surgery through tiny incisions, resulting in fewer complications, less blood loss and a quicker recovery. The Trilogy Radiation Therapy System gives patients a broader range of treatment options and the best chance for tumor control with the least damage to nearby healthy tissue. The Dual Source CT offers the highest imaging power available to produce the clearest images for making a diagnosis in less time and with less radiation exposure for patients. This technology features a completely non-invasive method to diagnose patients at risk for heart attacks, strokes and a variety of other medical conditions. The Open MRI features the widest patient gap of any high-field MRI system, and combines advanced imaging with a highly advanced ambient experience where patients are able customize the sites and sounds they hear and visualize during their exam.
We are always challenging ourselves on ways to make the healthcare experience better for our patients, physicians and staff. To provide better service to our patients, we have completed many construction projects including expanding and remodeling of our Family Birthing Center where beautifully decorated home-like rooms are designed for families to share their first moments together. The Community Hospital delivers about 2,400 babies a year, making the hospital one of the leading facilities in the state for newborn care. The hospital also opened a new 2-story state-of-the-art Emergency Department, which will increase the number of patients we can treat and is equipped with many efficiencies to deliver more timely care to our patients. We have also converted hospital space to provide a private patient room environment which better accommodates family visitation and is uplifting and cheerful for patients.
