Meet the Staff

Jillian Earnest, AuD. completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa in 2005, and received her doctorate in Audiology from Rush University in June 2009. She is a recipient of the College of Health Sciences award for Clinical Excellence in Audiology. She brings that clinical expertise to hearing evaluations and hearing aid services for patients ranging from pediatrics to older adults.

Christy Macak, AuD. completed her undergraduate studies at Purdue University in 2005. She completed her clinical externship at the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana and received her doctorate degree in Audiology from Purdue University in 2010. Christy is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her diverse clinical experiences have prepared her to provide exceptional audiology services to infants through geriatrics.

Melissa Newell, AuD. has 13 years experience as a clinical audiologist, working closely with ENT, neurology, family practice and pediatrics. She earned her master’s degree in Audiology from Indiana University and her doctorate from the University of Florida. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA).

Department supervisor Tricia O'Halloran, MA, CCC-A/FAAA, has a master's degree in Audiology from Northern Illinois University with 17 years experience in the field. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is responsible for providing services to many specialties, including neonatology, pediatrics, family practice, ENT, infectious diseases, and neurology. She also is coordinator for the newborn hearing screening at Community Hospital.
