The hospitals of Community Healthcare System offer many free and low-cost educational programs, screenings and support to help people live healthier, manage a chronic disease or recover from a serious illness.
Search here for class offerings throughout our healthcare system, which includes Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. This service, which includes assistance in Spanish, is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, and accepts registration for many of our classes.

5/17/2016 - Stroke Symposium
A neurologist, cardiologist, emergency medicine physician and a rehabilitation coordinator will discuss signs, symptoms and causes of stroke. Topics will include prevention, treatment after stroke, nutrition, physical activity and medications. Browse a consortium of vendors providing helpful information and free health screenings will also be available. Refreshments will be served. FREE
