New Member Profile Selections

As a medically based facility, we adhere to the protocols set forth by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) to ensure each member the safest, most effective personalized fitness program. In order to achieve this goal, new members are required to undergo a "Fitness Profile," which provides the staff important information from which a personalized fitness program is developed. New members select ONE of the following Profile types:

Express Profile:
The Express Profile consists of a medical history review and general fitness assessment which can include: height and weight, circumference measurements, blood pressure, incoming heart rate, body composition measurements and aerobic capacity assessment. Please allow 20-30 minutes for this service.

Express + Strength Profile:
This profile consists of the above Express Profile plus instruction and development of a personalized strength program. Please allow 45-60minutes for this service. (Members will not be orientated on Fitlinxx until they go through this profile). See Fitlinxx Orientation.

Additional Services included in Membership Fee:

Fitness Reevaluation (15-30 min)
Every 3-6 months we recommend a reassessment in order to analyze the effectiveness of your current fitness program as well as make further recommendations to continue progressing towards your health/fitness goals.

Fitlinxx Orientation (45-60 min)
Once ten exercise sessions have been manually recorded on an exercise log card, an Exercise Specialist will teach you how to use our interactive fitness technology, Fitlinxx. This computerized system allows you to track your workouts without the use of manual log cards while accruing "Fit Points" which can be redeemed for a number of reward incentives at Fitness Pointe.
