New Medical Officers Elected at Community Hospital

In accordance with the Medical and Dental Staff Bylaws, new officers have been elected to head medical departments at The Community Hospital, Munster, Ind.

Officers will serve from July 1, 1998 to June 30, 2000. Elections were approved by the Board of Directors.

New officers are:

Dr. Joseph J. Lach, re-elected chairman of the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Russell Pellar, re-elected vice chairman of the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Jorge Martinez, elected chairman of the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Anu Divakaruni, elected vice chairman of the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Frederick Delacotera, re-elected chairman of the Department of Family Practice.

Dr. Jerome March, re-elected vice chairman of the Department of Family Practice.

Dr. Walter Urbanski, elected chairman of the Department of Obstetrics / Gynecology.

Dr. Samir Zabaneh, elected vice chairman of the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Dr. Azad Challapalli, elected chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Yong K. Koh, elected vice chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Michael Anger, re-elected chairman of the Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Michael Luongo, re-elected vice chairman of the Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jose Pabon, re-elected chairman of the Department of Pathology.

Dr. Domenico Lazzaro, re-elected vice chairman of the Department of Pathology.

Dr. John Gustaitis, re-elected chairman of the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Randolph Roberts, re-elected vice chairman of the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Robert Cavens, re-elected chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine.
