Cardiovascular Research is committed to educating the public in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. To date, we have provided public programs on the topics of healthy eating, women and heart disease, caring for your heart and medication versus meditation. It is an important part of our mission to continue these public programs.

Cardiovascular Research offers an annual spring symposium for physicians and other health care professionals. The focus of the symposium is to educate these professionals on the latest advances that have been identified in such subjects as congestive heart failure; acute coronary syndrome; carotid occlusive disease; peripheral arterial disease; applications for the 64-slice CT scanner; lipid management; metabolic syndrome; atrial fibrillation and vulnerable plaque.
