Boston’s holds fund raiser for Good Cause: Local Cardiovascular Research

Boston’s offers heart-shaped pizzas to share with a Valentine beginning Feb. 15 at the restaurant, 625 W. U.S. 30 in Schererville. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cardiovascular Research program of Community Healthcare System.

During the month of February, American Heart Month, treat loved ones to a very special night out and play a part in life-saving research at the same time. Community Healthcare System Cardiovascular Research program and Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar are teaming up to raise funding and awareness regarding heart disease - the nation and the region’s leading cause of death.

Through the Community Healthcare System Cardiovascular Research program, Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart are able to offer Northwest Indiana and south suburban Chicago residents, new treatment options available only through clinical trials and studies.

Boston’s, 625 W. U.S. Highway 30 in Schererville, will donate $1 to the cardiovascular research program of Community Healthcare System for every heart-shaped pizza sold between Feb. 15 and Feb. 28. For each Mini Dippers appetizer or Chocolate Amore dessert order, another $1 will be donated to the research program. Or, diners and their guests have the option to purchase paper hearts for $1 each.

Boston’s is open for lunch and dinner, Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12 midnight. Or, check out the Good To Go! Take Out Menu at www.bostonsgourmet.com.
