CFNI appoints New Vice President
Vice President Engineering and Support Services
Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana, Inc. (CFNI) has announced that David Otte has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Engineering and Support Services. Otte began his career with Community Healthcare System in 2004, serving as Construction Manager.
The St. John resident brings more than 26 years of construction experience to this new position. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University West Lafayette Campus.
Otte assumed the vice-president position following the March 1 retirement of David Nellans.
In his current leadership role, Otte has had responsibility for the planning, organization and management of existing and new CFNI projects. CFNI of Munster, serves as the parent company to the Community Healthcare System, which includes Community Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. CFNI is a not-for-profit organization that provides leadership and resources for the enhancement of health and quality of life in Northwest Indiana, directing charitable endeavors that include the Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, Ridgewood Arts Foundation, Hartsfield Village, the Community Cancer Research Foundation and cardiovascular research.
Otte resides in St. John with his wife, Debbie, two sons, Drew & Kyle, and daughter, Lauren.
