Regional Director of Development named for Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana
Munster — Donald S. Powers, president and chief executive officer of Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana (CFNI) has named Pat Giannini as regional director of development for CFNI. Giannini brings 25 years of development experience to her new position.
She oversees the receipt of donations and is expanding the planned giving programs at the hospitals of Community Healthcare System — Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, as well as the Ridgewood Arts Foundation, Inc.. Donations to these organizations allow them to continue their work to improve the quality of medical care in the community and to enhance the arts.
“Donations from the community are extremely important to the success of all these not-for-profit organizations,” Giannini said. “I look forward to expanding our development efforts for these important organizations that improve the quality of life in our community.”
Giannini brings to her new role a significant understanding of and commitment to the communities of Northwest Indiana. She comes to CFNI from Indiana University Northwest in Gary where she served for four years as director of development. Born in Whiting, Giannini raised her family in Munster and now lives in Crown Point. She received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University.
