Second Annual Romp and Roll to benefit Cancer Resource Centre

MUNSTER — Music, clowns, food and fun will all be part of the Second Annual Romp & Roll, a walk/run to benefit the Cancer Resource Centre at 900 Ridge Road, Suite J, in Munster. The event will begin at noon on Sunday, Oct. 2 with check-in at the Munster High School Football Field.

The 5k Fun Run begins at 1 p.m. and the Family Style Walk starts at 1:10 p.m. Snacks will be offered before and during the walk/run and a picnic will immediately follow. All participants turning in a minimum $25 donation will receive a T-shirt. Awards will be given to the team and individual raising the most donations.

The Cancer Resource Centre helps those affected by cancer obtain the support and resources they need to cope with the cancer diagnosis. All services, which include classes, lectures and support groups, are offered to the public free of charge.
