Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Minimum of two years of critical care or emergency room nursing in order to be totally familiar with physiological equipment, to develop proficiency in cardiac nursing techniques, and the ability to adapt techniques to individual patient needs and to recognize different pressures within the heart and arterial systems. Current certification to administer CPR/ACLS. Licensure by the State of Indiana.

Clinical Dietitian
Under minimal supervision and according to established guidelines, provides professional nutrition services to patients. Assesses the nutritional needs of patients, develops implements and reevaluates nutritional care plans, provides nutritional counseling and instruction and performs related duties designated to ensure the nutritional care and education and education of assigned patients, in particular the diabetic population. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of four years of ADA approved college level training in Foods and Nutrition or related field. Min 2yrs experience preferred. R.D. and candidate for Indiana State nutrition certification.


Home Health RN

The Home Health Nurse is a qualified Registered Nurse who coordinates, supervises and evaluates home health services and provides skilled nursing services to patients in the home as prescribed by the attending physician, under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator and Director. Flexiable scheduling available. Indiana licensure required.

Psychiatric Social Worker
Under general supervision and according to established practices and professional standards, assists patients and their families to resolve personal and environmental problems which prohibit or limit patient from obtaining maximal benefits from medical care. Evaluates psychosocial functioning of patients and families and counsels them as necessary. Exchanges information with other Hospital professionals as well as representatives of outside agencies. Assists with patient discharge planning.

Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work: MSW required LCSW preferred. One to two years of experience in order to: a) acquire diagnostic interviewing skills b) acquire counseling skills and techniques c) become familiar with local agencies and facilities d) learn to develop adequate discharge plans e) acquire suitable interpersonal and analytical skills.

The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, prescribing, implementing and evaluating interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes; and for performing activities that demonstrate and promote improvement in nursing practice demonstrating the characteristics of service of St. Catherine Hospital. The Staff Nurse reports to the Head Nurse of the assigned unit.

Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing. Current Licensure to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.

Registered Nurses----LDRP--Pediatrics--Intermediate Care--ICU--Emergency--Med/Surg
The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, prescribing, implementing and evaluating interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes; and for performing activities that demonstrate and promote improvement in nursing practice demonstrating the characteristics of service of St. Catherine Hospital. Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing. Current Licensure to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.

RN Nurse Fellow
As a Nurse Fellow you will gain excellent experience in a hospital setting. You will assist the registered nurse in admitting, transferring and discharging patients. You will also assist is developing nursing plans for assigned patients while providing quality patient care.
. School schedule must be provided each semester in order for us to provide flexibility with work schedule.

YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
. currently enrolled in a professional school of nursing.
. completed at least one semester of clinical experience.
. Able to work 1 day minimum a week after unit orientation is complete.




On-Call

Chaplain Asst.
Provides patients family members and hospital staff emotional, pastoral, spiritual and sacramental support and guidance to assist them through periods of stress, crisis or anxiety. Visits assigned patients/residents and accepts referrals; documents care and support provided and participates in educational programs. May offer prayer or reflection from the patient/resident’s life experience. Must have obtained one unit and be in the process of obtaining certification by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) or the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or possess equivalent training experience
