Medical Education
St. Catherine Hospital is proud of its long history of providing high quality medical education to physicians in Lake County and the surrounding area. We offer several programs: Cardiology Club, Oncology Conference, Specialty Rounds, and Progress In Medicine. These programs are typically designed to be one-hour luncheon programs at the hospital. St. Catherine Hospital is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. St. Catherine Hospital designates each educational activity for a maximum AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
