The St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary History
The St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary was founded in 1958 and helps the hospital achieve its goal of providing quality care to its patients and guests.
All activities of the auxiliary are philanthropic and the auxiliary sponsors all hospital fundraising events to include Gift Shop management. All proceeds are used for St. Catherine Hospital, patient care services, and the community.
Volunteer Information
St. Catherine Hospital offers unique opportunities for everyone 14 years or older from all backgrounds. As a member of our volunteer family, you will be able to share your talents, interests, and abilities with us and those we serve. As a volunteer, you will be assisting with many of the services that contribute to the quality of care and comfort for our patients. Our mission calls us to care for our patients with compassion, respect and kindness.

Orientation /Training
Volunteer training includes attending a structured group Hospital and Department orientation program. Orientation is conducted on a monthly basis. Please contact Volunteer Services for upcoming dates.

Scholarship Awards
St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary awards $22,800 in scholarship awards to students pursuing healthcare careers.
The St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary is proud to announce its 2009-2010 Scholarship Award recipients. The awards were presented to the recipients at St. Catherine Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 2009.

St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Program is funded through the Auxiliary's Gift Shop sales, fundraising events, and St. Catherine Hospital Wings of Healing Program. Donations to the SCH Auxiliary Scholarship Program are welcomed.
