St. Catherine Hospital's Nursing Excellence Award program is based on Dignity, Compassionate Care, Community, Quality and Stewardship - key components of the hospital’s mission and values.
The Nursing Excellence Award 2010 has been presented to Kathy Vanek, R.N. at St. Catherine Hospital. An integral part of the St. Catherine Hospital Nursing staff, she has more than 38 years of dedicated service to the hospital.
According to the nomination, Vanek "is an excellent resource person for clinical problems or questions that any of her co-workers or patients may have. She is always happy and more than willing to help. Kathy is always upbeat and ready and willing to help patients and co-workers."
