Inpatient/Outpatient Medical Oncology
Inpatient Medical Oncology
At St. Catherine Hospital, we see oncology care through the eyes of our patients, bringing together a multidisciplinary team to offer highly specialized and personalized services. Patients have access to a variety of hospital resources during their stay, including educational and nutritional services, pharmacy, physical and occupational therapy, radiation therapy, social services and hospice. The inpatient oncology care is provided on the sixth floor of the hospital's patient tower accessible from the main entrance. We offer all-private patient rooms that include spacious bathrooms and showers, television, built-in storage unit and a fold-out chair to accommodate an overnight guest.
Our Outpatient Oncology Clinic unit provides services to patients on an outpatient basis Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. This beautifully remodeled unit located on the first floor inside the CyberKnife® Center is staffed by an experienced team of oncology nurses who administer a variety of prescribed outpatient treatments, including the administration of chemotherapy, antibiotics, vaccines, cell growth stimulating factors and more. Blood transfusions and blood components are also offered. Patients of our Outpatient Oncology Clinic must meet certain conditions for independent care or minimal assist with family participation.
