Outpatient Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is a medical specialty that helps restore people affected by disabling disease or traumatic injury to good health and functional, productive lives. Outpatient Rehabilitation Services offered through St. Mary Medical Center include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
St. Mary Medical Center offers Outpatient Rehabilitation at three locations in Hobart, Portage and Winfield. A fourth location in the new Valparaiso Health Center will open in 2013. For appointments or more information, call 219-947-6580.
We offer a range of therapies for various types of acute and chronic conditions by therapists advance-trained and certified therapists in specialty areas:
- Post-surgical physical and sports rehabilitation therapy
- Neurodevelopmental techniques (NDT) and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) for neurological conditions
