Scheduling Your Sleep Evaluation
An appointment for a PSG can be initiated by a physician or a patient may call for a referral to our Sleep Diagnostic facility. The patient's sleep study findings will be forwarded to the referring physician upon interpretation.
Sleep Diagnostic Services offered at St. Mary Medical Center accepts payments from most insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Emilio D. Soria, M.D. is a co-medical director of Sleep Diagnostics at St. Mary Medical Center. He attended medical school at the University of Salamanca, Spain and earned his degree in Psychology from the University Pontificia of Salamanca, Spain. His post graduate training includes a neurosurgery residency in Spain and a neurology residency in New York. He has served as associate professor of neurology at the University of Louisville, Kentucky and University of Nebraska in Omaha. He is former clinical associate professor of internal medicine at the University of Kansas in Wichita. He is board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine; Clinical Neurophysiology; Psychiatry and Neurology; and in Sleep Medicine. He is a member of the Executive Committee, Section on History, American Academy of Neurology; the American Sleep Disorder Association; an American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine Fellow; and American Academy of Neurology Fellow.
Fadi Layous, M.D. is a co-medical director of Sleep Diagnostics at St. Mary Medical Center. He received his doctorate from Allepo University in Syria before completing an internship in Internal Medicine also at Allepo, then a residency in Internal Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and, a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Layous is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine; and in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Layous' work has been noted and/or included in numerous journals; abstracts; book chapters and publications.
