The hospitals of Community Healthcare System offer many free and low-cost educational programs, screenings and support to help people live healthier, manage a chronic disease or recover from a serious illness.
Search here for class offerings throughout our healthcare system, which includes Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. If you would like in-person assistance to find a particular class or resource, call 219-836-3477or toll free 1-866-836-3477. This service, which includes assistance in Spanish, is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, and accepts registration for many of our classes.

2/10/2016 - Hearts of Hope
A crimson light twinkles, and another life is saved. The lights on the Hearts of Hope tree inside of St. Mary Medical Center represent donations made to the Cardiovascular Research Program to fund vital research for heart disease. Each light on the Hearts of Hope trees at St. Mary’s shines in honor or memory of those who fill our hearts with love and joy. Honor someone close to your heart today.
