Ways to Give
Community Cancer Research Foundation Endowment
Cancer is a devastating diagnosis for greater than one million individuals and their families that are forced to face this disease each year. The endowment is to help underwrite continued research and support the Cancer Resource Centre. To continue to help improve the quality of care, research and patient/family support is necessary. Gifts to this endowment will generate hope and support for those struggling with a diagnosis of cancer.

Key of Hope
Community Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to improve the access area residents have to cancer research so they don't have to leave their community. These efforts have provided the keys to link area patients with research sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and 13 major research cooperatives in the U.S. and Canada. The foundation supports research initiatives at the three hospitals of the Community Healthcare System: Community Hospital in Munster; St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago; and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. These trials evaluate new prevention, diagnostic and treatment options for breast, lung, prostate and colon cancers, lymphoma, adult leukemia and myelodysplasia.
Donations made to the Research Foundation are 100% tax-deductible and can be made in honor or memory of someone and to support the program. For more information call 219-836-6879.
