MUNSTER – Community Hospital has again earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Spinal Surgery Certification. The certification recognizes the hospital’s commitment to providing exceptional care by meeting The Joint Commission’s standards for health care quality and safety in disease-specific care.
Community Hospital underwent a rigorous on-site review in recently Certification requirements include compliance over a two-year period with consensus-based national standards; effective and consistent use of appropriate, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines; and collection and analysis of at least four performance measures specific to the spinal surgery patient population.
