Ways to Give

Cardiovascular Research

Cardiovascular Research is working to improve the heart health of our community through education and the advancement of knowledge from studies. Building upon Community Healthcare System's vast experience in treating heart disease, we're working to improve local access to new treatments options available only through research. These initiatives have made it possible for the system's hospitals to participate in national research trials directed at better detection, treatments and the prevention of heart disease.

Hearts of Hope

Celebrate National Heart Month with a light on our Hearts of Hope tree!

Hearts of Hope gives individuals the opportunity to honor or remember someone they love and support the advancement of cardiac care in our communities. All donations go to Cardiovascular Research. For a $5 donation, honor a special person in your life with a gift to help fund vitally needed research trials and studies for heart disease. For a $15 donation, send your honoree a striking Hearts of Hope lapel pin as well. Honorees receive a card informing them that a light shines in their honor, or in memory of someone who fills our hearts with love and joy.

Honorees and donors are invited to attend a physician presentation and tree-lighting ceremony celebrating those whose lives have been touched by heart disease at 5:30 pm, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center, west patient tower entrance, 1500 S. Lake Park Avenue, Hobart, Indiana.

For more information on the program, please email Mildred Montemayor call 219-947-6041 or click here to print a donation form.

Please note: Names received after February 10, 2017, cannot be guaranteed a listing at the tree lighting ceremony. Cards and pins will be sent to honorees through February 28, 2017.
