Breast health is a necessary topic for all women, not just those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Nutrition, exercise, self-exams and regular screenings are all important for maintaining breast health and identifying abnormalities that may be a sign of cancer.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Women’s Diagnostic Centers at St. Mary Medical Center and the Valparaiso Health Center are pleased to present two upcoming programs dedicated to educating women about breast health before, during and after diagnosis and treatment. At each program, a panel of physicians, care navigators and diagnostic professionals will discuss the care journey for breast cancer treatment and will offer best practices for how women can be proactive about breast health throughout their lives.
