Ways to Give:

  • Volunteers
Contributions of time and talent are always welcome. Volunteers are trained to assist in the Centre's reception area and Resource Room. Help is also needed with fundraising and community activities, as well as mentoring programs to match individuals with shared experiences. Many of these programs are under development. For more information, call the Centre, 219-836-3349.
  • Memorials and Tribute Gifts
Honor someone you love, either in memory or a tribute, by contributing to the Cancer Resource Centre. You may choose to mark a special occasion with a donation as well. We will send a special card letting loved ones know that a gift was made for them. To make a gift, please complete the following form and mail it to the Cancer Resource Centre, 926 Ridge Road, Suite J, Munster, IN 46321. All contributions are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to: The Community Cancer Research Foundation.
  • Books
Have you ever wished you could offer the right words of encouragement, inspiration or knowledge for someone who really needed them?

    Now you can.

By sponsoring a book for the Cancer Resource Centre library you can now offer those words through a medical journal or an uplifting book. The library is filled with resources to help those affected by cancer... patients, family and friends.

The Cancer Resource Centre, 926 Ridge Road in Munster is a place where patients, family and caregivers can find information they need to cope with a diagnosis of cancer. The Resource Centre will offer many different avenues for those seeking information, including books, internet access, counselors, support groups and classes. All the services are provided free of charge to the community.

A donation of $25 will place a book in the library with your name and the option of including a short personal message on the inside cover. Your message may be one of encouragement to those reading the books, or a dedication to someone special to you.
