Pediatric Therapy

The Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy Services Department works with children of all ages, ranging from premature infants to high schoolers. Our therapists are committed to assisting your child and your family in understanding his or her specific challenges. Our team approach allows the therapist to evaluate and treat your child using the most and up-to-date treatment and techniques to reach an optimal outcome.

Our staff is trained in traditional approaches such as an integrated therapeutic approach, as well as in the most advanced techniques available, including myofascial release, sensory integration, infant massage and electrical stimulation. We use a variety of activities to keep your child involved, including therapeutic play, balance and coordination games, the Wii, handwriting, and pediatric aquatic therapy (see below).

For children with plagiocephaly (flat head) or torticollis (tilted neck), we team with the Center for Orthotic and Prosthetic Excellence (COPE) and can use the STAR Scanner to provide the child with a best-fitting cranial remodeling helmet.
