Speech Therapy

Speech therapy plays an important role in helping individuals improve skills and communicate more effectively. We have experience working with both pediatric and adult patients who have a variety of diagnoses and injuries ranging from stroke, brain injury and Parkinson’s disease, to multiple sclerosis. Our speech pathologists offer assessment, identification and treatment/rehabilitation of individuals who have difficulties with communication and/or swallowing. We use a variety of techniques, including the following, to help facilitate functional communication skills and/or achieve the least restrictive diet possible in those patients with swallowing difficulties.

  • Lee Silverman Voice Treatment
  • VitalStim therapy
  • Digital Swallowing Workstation
  • Modified Barium Swallow Study
